Thanks for the great suggestions for my last question.  I've got another one regarding the pinata.  Someone suggested not putting sugar-filled candy into it.  I'm going to go with that, but I need ideas of what else I could put into it.  I'm going to go to the dollar store & pick up some small toys to put in.  But, I was also thinking of things like healthy snacks.  Can a diabetic child have raisins?  I was also thinking of those pre-packaged crackers & cheese.  Do you have any other ideas?

Hi Leanne! Yes, diabetics can have raisins, in small quantities. The very small boxes of raisins are 1 serving of carbs. Carbs need to be balanced with protein so if she were to eat them at the party, make sure she has some cheese or peanut butter for them. You could even make the "ants on a log" snack for them - celery sticks with peanut butter spread on them, and the raisins are the little "ant's" walking across the celery "log." The little crackers and cheese and pretzels and cheese or peanut butter
