OK here is the situation

1. I am 43 and in perimenopsuse and my cycles are really off. I have been haveing 52 days cycles with 14-20 day periods. Sick and tired of this. What is the best pill for a diabetic to take if there is a best. Which one doesn't raise your blood sugar the most or cause bloating.

2. I am also on weight watchers and have lost 108 lbs and dont' want to be gaining weight on the pill. Is there something else with a low incidence of weight gain that would help y cycles.

Thanks..

Thanks Cheryl...yea it helped me some. I guess I will have to see the dr. The nurse I talked today said I should make an appointment to see the dr, and they could do an u/s to make sure this isn't something other than peri. I have to agree there, also that no one should have to go through long periods like this. That I also agree on. So if I have to get stricter with my eating to keep my bs where I feel good I guess it will have to be that way. I cant' stand this anymore:( Thanks to the help:)

I have been on several different ones in my life, which I have to say that each one has effected me in different ways such as weight gain, bloating, and what not. My best advice for you is to talk to your ob/gyn to see what they would suggest since they have more information on the latest contraceptives now out. Remember one pill might work for one person, but not for another since the doctors tend to prescribe them according to your body. You might try
