What book would you recommend to another diabetic that you found very helpful?

I got my husband this great book from readers digest.Stopping Diabetes in its tracks, it's a great book with tons of info.I read that aloe Vera juice can bring your sugar reading down.If you take half teaspoon of aloe vera a day for 4 to 14 weeks it can bring your fasting levels down by 273 to 151 points.I did not really think it would work but i had my husband try it.He was always in the 300's even while on meds, i told him a little lie "i told him Aloe Vera makes his hair thicker" well its been about 4 or 5 weeks and he is in the 170 to 180, for him that really good.I would tell any one with diabetes to get this book there are 287 pages of great info that you can use.
