Update on sister's passing

Hello everyone. Thank you for trying to answer some of my questions at such a difficult time. I just wanted to clarify a few things mentioned in the previous posts. Someone said from the looks of it my sister must have been overweight, and found it odd being diagnosed type 1 at such a late age 27. Well she was 110pds so not overweight. Looking back at all her signs and symptoms the doctors determined that she probably just went undiagnosed for such a long time untill she was drinking too much between ages of 21 and 27 and thats what brought it out.
We have been in contact with the diabeties association. They are furious that she was given dilaudid, but also confused about what may have happened because of the moaning for 9 hours, they dont think it could have been a high or low problem, they just arent sure. Also the landlady when notified of the moaning did go and check and knock on the door no answer so she thought everything was fine. She is a registerd nurse and knew my sister was diabetic, we are just overwhelmed with anger toward that situation.
We have also been in contact with the rep of the college of physicans and surgeons. The case is still being investigated. The lady in charge is also sure that it wasnt a high or low glycemic problem because of the moaning for 9 hours. But she was sure the diaudid wasnt an issue.
We have spoken directly to the pathologist who did the autopsy and after we told him about the moaning he is just confused as everyone and is ordering more blood tests, thank god they still have some. They will check insulin and some other stuff. He had put on his findings that probable cause was hypoglycemic reaction due to complications of diabetes, now he is second guessing.
If anyone else has information or stories to share please let me know.

On a side note. I have a great aunt in Australia who comitted suicide last january. The pills were found as well as the suicide note. You know what the pathologist put on the autopsy, cause of death, Broncial Phemonia. what??? We were told that they did this so the family couldnt go after the doctor who precribed the pills. What is this world coming to ??
Take care all and again thats for you ideas.
