As some of you may know I have posted about Aloe Vera juice and the affects it has on Diabetic. I had received a book that was saying that it can lower your levels by as much as 260 point, with a husband who reads between 300 and 500 I figured any thing is worth trying. The most important thing to remember is that it WILL take 4 to 6 weeks before you really see any changes. Well Yesterday and today he has been testing and he is between 135 to 152 what a big difference. I really do believe that the Aloe Vera has something to do with this he has not changed or stopped any meds nor has he change his eating habbits. He had a fasting reading of 138 yesterday. We get the Aloe Vera from costso it cost $7 for a bottle that will last 4 to 5 months as you only take 2 oz a day. We did check with his doctor first before we started this, so any one who’s thinking about it should also check. In fact the doctor of ours who is also a diabetic had heard of it but never really thought much about it. When I was on the phone with him today he said that he is going to try it for himself. Thought I would pass this only because with living with a diabetic I have learned the frustrations you have because of my husband.

Thank you so very much for sharing that information with us. I just know that there will be a few who will give it a try after they speak to their doctor of course. The wonderful things that are discovered to help diabetics is amazing.
I am glad to hear that your husband blood sugars have come down since I know all to well having a high one is just a horrible feeling and even harder for one who has to deal with them while they have a high blood sugar. Just hang in there, because it sounds like your husband is doing much better and most likely feeling loads better as well.
Do come back to give us an update on how you are both doing. Also join in on the conversations, which we usually have several going on all different subjects. Take care and do have a super day!
