I was so sure that my HbA1c would be about a 6 since I have never been able to go down past 5.8. Well, I got my test result today and it was a big shock with it being 5.4 and I was so super thrilled to hear that not to mention happy as could be that I was doing so well. I came home to tell my husband the news and he was so happy to hear it that he even told me that I deserved something special for working so hard in getting it there and I could pick it out myself. That just made my day since he usually does not do that at all, but to have him also wanting to cheer me on was touching to say the lease.
Well, I only have to wait for some time this upcoming month I should get to see my Endo for once after my husband's insurance kicks in from his new job. I just hope that my Endo takes that insurance or I have no idea what we will do other than pay out of pocket to keep my doctor. Ughhhhhh The stress of worrying about that is just awful since all insurances should be excepted no matter what. in my honest opinion anyways.
I hope you all have a very terrific enjoyable day!

Am sure that really will make the doctors happy! Seems like being pregnant would make it a LOT harder to have that good a number!!

Congratulations Denise. Does this mean that your baby will have less chance of gaining too much weight? By the way where are they planning to deliver your baby? I am going wandering agin later this month for two weeks and I dont' want to be gone at the same time. I will have internet access and I won't what is going on! :-(.
I hope you are staying cool and comfortable.
Thank you so very much. I for some reason seem to do very well while pregnant, but have no clue why I do not do as well when not pregnant. Maybe it has to do with me watching everthing I do or eat so well that I do great. If I could only have it that way all the time, which my Endo said if we could keep me pregnant all of the time we would be doing great. LOL So funny how things work especially since it is suppose to be hard to keep yourself in good control while pregnant with all the hormones going wild as they are known to do, which is why I was so very shocked to hear what my HbA1c was at and could not believe it for a split second.
Take care and do have a very joyful day!
