I want more information on these medicines I am taking since I was not given much from the pharmacy at all on them so I thought you might be able to help me out with this. Now these are all the generic names since that is what was covered by insurance, but if you could also include the rightful name of them as well.

  1. Ranitidine

  2. Hydroxyzine PAM

  3. Nifedipine

I so appreciate any information you can give a ve me on them, because I feel rather dumb with not knowing much about them especially the acid reflux one since I had to switch to it instead of my normal pepcid that worked so well for me. No rush at all on this.

Do have a very enjoyable weekend!

Thank you Cheryl for the help. It did give me what I wanted to know on only it does not state anything about the reasons I was put on 2 of them for this pregnancy to stop contractions. So maybe Mary Frances can help me out with that part since when I look it up there is nothing at all about that and it is commonly used for those reasons. At least

Denise,

I haven't had a chance to look up these generic meds yet. My computer keeps telling me that I have some fatal error when I come to iVillage and then it shuts down! The other crazy thing is that I manage to here two different ways depending upon which computer I am using and if I try to use the way on the alternate computer it won't work. ( I hope made sense!) LOL. Aw computer! Can't live with them and can't live without them.

Anyway as soon as I have a chance to look the information up for you I will post my answer.

Have a great week,

Mary Frances

Thank you so much Mary Frances. I very much appreciate any information you can give me on those medications. So sorry to hear that your having computer trouble though, but I know how that goes and it can get so frustrating at times. Your right we are so very much lost with out our computers these days and yet get upset with them at the same time. Just shows how much time has changed from how it use to be.

I look forward hearing from you on those medications. I will owe you big time for doing this for me. Do take care and have a super day!
