This has been a very difficult 6 days, but I am now starting to come out of the daze I have been in. Due to the stress and being upset, I got sick. My body can no longer take any stress without compensating in some way so I am fighting whatever I have come down with. The last time I had a lot of stress, the cold I thought I had turned out to be a chronic sinus infection. I'm hoping this one remains a cold! It has 2 more days to go away before I call my doctor.

Aside from that, I do have a bit of happy news! Our landscaping was started today and it is looking fabulous so far. We have been on their list for 5 weeks waiting to be at the top of the list. We're having all 4 sides of the house done and I'm so excited! I've needed this day.

Great to have you back online with us Angie. I am sorry to hear about your cold though, which I have to say there must be something going around since I had one last week along with both of my boys, but now DH has it and worse than the rest of us had it. I used Claritin non drowsy and it went away, which really stunned me since I generally end up sick for a few weeks that turns into bad congestion to a bronchitis or pneumonia. So I feel very fortunate not have had that happen this time around. Just keep an eye on your blood sugars since you know what infections do to it. I sure hope you get to feeling better very soon so I am sending you some strong "go away cold" vibes right to you.

Wow, I am so jealous since I have wanted to get our yard done for a while and the plances around here are always so booked up that we are on a waiting list. Oh well, the things we want done just seem to take forever to get them done, but at least when it is done it is the biggest relief in the world not to mention makes you feel just fantastic. So enjoy the landscaping all you can. Take care and do have super great day!

Hi Denise, thanks! Fall planting time really backs up the landscape companies, as does the rain. When we decided on which company to use, we had to send them a check for a third of the cost to get on the list. They were working 5 weeks out at that time. They can often plant here up until Thanksgiving. The weather here is to turn warmer again, so we may even get some growth from the plants yet this year.

I'm still trying to kick this cold, it's continuing to linger.
