Hi all!  Latley, I have noticed a change in my appetite.  I try to eat healthy and I pack my lunch on the days that I have classes but I have noticed that when it is time to eat my lunch, I'm really not hungry for the lunch and I try to eat it anyways, but I have trouble trying the sandwich, it's as if I'm somehow disgusted by the food if that makes any sense!  I can typically eat the fruit I pack with my lunch, but sometimes I can't even eat that.  A few times I have not been able to eat anything without feeling bad by it and a few other times, I have ate {{{gaps}}} potato chips because nothing else tasted good...  I've even noticed it with breakfast sometimes.  Does any one else have this problem??

I think we all get food doldums sometimes. I know I get really tired of eating the same thing. So just look and see if there is something that you would like to eat that you have been missing and put that into your eating plan. Of course with limits! Maybe you could take a salad or a thermos of soup. But your appetite may be changing because of your weight loss. Do try to stay out of the fried high fat foods though.

Lately I have been craving chocolate. Today my boss gave me a Halloween treat of sugar free turtles. Oh my, did the one that I ate taste good! Grandson is going tricker or treating Sunday the first time as a duck and I have to stay out of his candy! At 21 months this is his first time and he should be so cute!

Have a great weekend and I hope you feel better real soon,

Beth,

There are various stategies to help with preventing over eating. But first I need to know what your blood sugar readings are running. What are they before you eat and what are they 2 hours after you eat? Are you on medication and if so what. Is it all meals or just some meals and not every day but certain times of the month, etc.

Please get back to me and I will see what I can suggest.
