I have a terrible time when we go onto day light saving time or when we go off it. I can't figure out when to eat and I have a terrible time sleeping. On top of that, my little black fir person can't firgure out when we are supposed to feed her and she keeps trying to get me out of bed. Does anyone else have problems with this?

Just move to Indiana. Except for a few small areas in the state, we never change! Unfortunately, the world around us does, and it makes for a lot of confusion when dealing with people outside of Indiana. "Last week we were in the same time zone; are we ahead of you now, or behind?"

Maybe someday we'll catch up with the rest of the country.

I can relate to all of this. getting up this AM was a little easier(cuz it was an hour later) but coming out of work to total darkness is really depressing!! also we have had no sun for way too long!!!

i seem to really be struggling here in WI too, but its a combination of being the Halloween full moon, having a puter that im ready to swear is possessed, the DLST making my usual fun with SAD even worse, we are now hitting a cold spell here and that is flaring the various cranky body parts. thankfully the cranky body is mostly arthritis in knees, and sometimes tennis elbow or carpal tunnel will flare up.

lets just say right now i feel like im in a real snit!!! At least I finally managed to scandisk and defrag my stupid puter. i thought i was out of the woods today when i finally managed to do that...BUT something is definitely wrong cuz the RAM memory is way way lower than it should be. dont know if i have some RAM thats about to croak or what the problem is....but its really getting me cranky!! bottom line...the puter is running albet slowly and freezing, crashing etc at various times. im not sure it has enough memory to try to save all the stuff on hard drive i do not want to lose, and the user manual cd(i either never got or it ran away)...so i cant even go find ram for it. sorry i guess im babbling. have spent too much of about the last month fighting this little monster.....getting on line and then freezing up when i try to post things...etc. there are things on this hard drive i do NOT want to lose but also am not sure i or the puter is strong enough to save the stuff. bottom line....the puter is really frustrating me. due to various problems...money is very short so new puter is not really likely. but it also doesnt pay to spend much trying to fix this one even if i knew of a place i really trusted to fix it!! apparently also when i defragged it something got mixed up with my email. i have access to most of it thankfully.

If i seem to ignore or miss any messages....its not intentional. i usually go on line after i finally get home at night, quite late, and have had way to many messages i attempted to send that crashed when i tried to send them.

Hi

Yep I have SAD and have lots of problems from September to Mid March. I hate it:(

DLST does not help the situation.

MaryFrances~

Not having DLST is one of the few things in AZ that I can honestly say I approve.

WE DON'T DO IT!

I'd always be confused...

I have a difficult time as it is with the time zones...especially calling from here to the EST zone. DLST only screws it up worse!

Your not alone. I have a rough time sleeping when I should. The boys want to eat at around 4 PM for dinner when I usually feed them at 5 PM not to mention they both seem to finally fall asleep later since they seem confused of when they should be sleeping. So everybody in my house has problems with DLST for sure. I find it so hard to adjust to and that I hate it since it gets so dark very early. Yuck!
