I can't find an alert charm like this...

Hi all!

DH is planning to get me a medic bracelet for Christmas and I've really put a lot of thought into what I want it to look like so I'll wear it all the time. I wear a lot of silver jewelry but my wedding set is gold so I always prefer watches that are two-tone and my earrings are usually two-tone also. Is there a charm or bracelet that is sterling and gold or white and yellow gold? I've googled and ended up on a goose chase seeing the same things over and over and none of them are what I'm after. Do you wear a charm on a bracelet or a regular bracelet? I think a charm might look more like regular jewelry, therefore I'd be more inclined to wear it with everything. Thanks for your help! I know this is a topic often discussed here and I've read some of the posts and followed the links, but still I'm stumped. I appreciate your help!

I know exactly what you mean since we all wear different types of jewelry or dress comfy, casual, and very dressy. I myself purchased this one found at this link http://www.laurenshope.com/product.asp?subcat=8&prod=47

Hi..Check with your local jeweler. They may not stock the charms, but will be able to special order for you. (They probably can get anything from sterling and gold filled up to 18 Karat.) Also, I too like Lauren's Hope, and have one of their bracelets.

Have fun...and keep well.

I'm with everyone on Laurenshope.com - they have some beautiful stuff and it's more like a pretty bracelet with the added advantage of being a medic alert.

An update... I finally ordered a bracelet today. I did find the two-tone charms but by the time I found them I had pretty much decided on a standard id bracelet in sterling silver. I did like the ones at Lauren's Hope and may try to do some beaded strands for a spare someday. Thank you everyone. BTW, I did check my jeweler's and the only solution they had was to put a sterling charm on a gold bracelet.

Julee~

Excuse me...but I think your jeweler is nuts!

I've been to several jewelers, and they each had a large jewelry merchandise catalogue.
They even offered to help me search for just what I wanted.

Of course, I'm still wearing my $6 one from Walmart. Guess I was convinced that after
almost a year I wouldn't have to be diabetic any more or something!

""" (tears)

Hope you're satisfied with your choice whatever it turns out to be.

Yeah, they're probably nuts! I thought she was just being lazy by not bothering to look further or offering to make one to my specifications. Oh well, I hope I'll like the one I got too! Thanks for the laugh!
