Postcard exchange

So as I said in a prior post, I joined some yahoo groups to help get ideas.

So far I have one good one to share a link to. It is a postcard exchange. Sign up is open now and trades go until February 22, Thinking Day. I have been aware that they were out there but never knew where to go. I don't think my troop is ready for real pen-pals but this is just right for them.

Go to www.mythinkingday.com and join. Some states have very little or no participation and some have pages worth. There are some overseas as well. There is a lot of information on the site but basically you have to join a yahoo group, with a yahoo id and wait for approval. Then you can select troops from their database and email your request to trade.

I did sign up and have had a very positive response so far. It is open to boy scouts this year too.

I'll let you know if I find anything else worth sharing again.
