Period and the pump..what to do

Ok for anyone who is on a pump, What should I do this is my first period since getting on the pump last year and my sugars are going nuts I woke to it being over 300 this morning


Oh and for those who know me a little update Kailey will be 3 mths the 1st she is doing very good and we are closeing on a new place today...yeppe I found out I have COPD, got to have hand surgary on both hands for triger finger and I go for a mamogram the 21st because they found 3 lumps in my right breast :(


I should have some pics of all my kids together to share this week and will share them with you hope all is well with everyone sorry I havent been on the board a lot its just so crazy around here with a baby ,toddler,older ones out for summer and trying to pack to move along with all the Dr visits

I am sure it is the hormones that are causing your numbers to be too high. Your doctor should tell you what he wants you to do when this occurs. I suspect that you will need to give yourself a few extra units of insulin. I wish Denise were around to answer your question but she isn't here anymore. She had so much experience with pumps.


Good luck on your move. I don't evny you moving with diabetes, elevated blood sguar and four children. Sure is a lot of work even though your older ones can help.
