Ellen,

I wear regular shoes but I am careful with their fit. I make sure that they don't rub and cause blisters. I think diabetic socks are a better bet even though they are expensive. Do a search because we were recently talking about diabetic socks and I think someone posted how you could get them cheaper over the internet. Diabetic socks are knitted without seams and therefore there is less chance of rubbing and getting sores on your feet.

mary frances,

he never said why i needed them but i am assuming it's because i don't have a lot of padding on my feet. my toes are just skin and bone.

i will look into the diabetic socks.

thanks

I wonder if those I think Dr Scholls shoe inserts would help. The ones with those silly commercials for "gellin". I put those in my shoes when the sole stops feeling well padded to me. Walmart and most places with foot products sell them.

They feel sorta like jelly!! Those ones with memory foam do NOT do much though.
