Hi my name is Judy. I'm married to Will and and we have 2 dd's. Clarissa is 9 1/2 and in 4-H and Hannah is 7 1/2 and is in Cloverbuds. They have been involved since last Dec. Clarissa just got her Gate Sign and can't wait to proudly display it.
This year she chose horses as her projuect and just had that first meeting tonight. It looks like it will be really good. I can't wait! I may be even more excited than her :-)
Looking forward to meeting new friends here. Oh yeah, we're from NE Oklahoma.

Hey Judy, good to see you here.
Aly just started 4-H last month. She's running for reporter for her club. We have to work on campaign signs this weekend. A bunch are running for president according to the signs already put up at school (they could start putting up signs yesterday), and she saw one each for treasurer and secretary...no others yet for reporter.
She chose "Play the Role" as her project for the year. We don't have any animals, though if she enjoys 4-H, Mike would like to get her started with a rabbit. My brother had 3, so he said he'd help.

We really like 4-H. It seems to be a good group of kids. We have a horse, but I don't think she'd be a good 4_H horse. I did find one on EquineHits.com that I'm going to go look at on Tuesday. He sounds perfect.
I hope Aly gets the reporter position. When are the elections? We had ours about a month or so ago. Clarissa is too young and too shy to run for office. I'm hoping that 4-H will help her come out of her shell a little bit.
Clarissa would love to do a small animal like a rabbit too, but dh doesn't want any kind of animal in the house. He's not thrilled about the horse, but at least it's not on our property :-)

Aly didn't win the election. But, I'm not surprised. She is very shy and she is also a 4th grader (obviously, no one is too young to run).
But, I had discussed it with her as soon as she told me she'd run and she's okay with not winning. She's still as excited to be in 4-H as before.
