As some of you are aware, I use an Accu-Chek Compact. I just received a copy of their magazine that they put out for their users. It has some really interesting articles and even some recipes. They also have a diabetes assistant program that you can use to automatically or manually record your blood sugar readings and look at them in graph form. The thing that most interested me is an easy carbohydrate counting magnets which are free. Log onto www.accu-chek.com. And make sure you register your meter as I am sure that is how I got on the mailing list.

I registered right away but haven't gone back there in a while but I should - we're always looking for new recipes.
For several months, I would enter my bs readings in a plain old Excel spreadsheet and then use their Chart Wizard thing to make a graph of the readings. I had one for each time of day - pre-breakfast, post breakfast, and so on that I could add the carb values I had had to that point in the day and see how the two charts tracked. If you've got Excel anyhow, it's really easy to do.
