I have the accu-chek aviva today I change the time on my meter now at lunch time when took my bs read it read 70 and at the bottom it read hypo? what does that mean...
I don't have the Aviva model but yes, accu-chek monitors can be set to indicate when a reading might be hypoglycemia. It's possible that when you re-set the time that the indicator got turned on as well even though it may previously have been turned off - OR you may never had a reading low enough to trigger the hypo message. Whether you tested before or after lunch, 70 is a REALLY low number.
Hi ivmy2boys,
Does your Accu-chek have a User's Guide.
