Anything you want - but watch the portions! Turkey itself has no carbs which is good. Veggies next - peas, green beans, carrots, etc. Sweet potatoes sans brown sugar and marshmallows are okay. White potatoes are something to skip if you can't just leave it at a spoonful or two. White bread stuffing as well - just a tad or skip it. I'd skip the cranberry sauce as well since it's lots of sugar/carbs. Whole grain bread - pretty good; white bread/biscuits - skip it or go for a teeny bit. Have some cheese cubes or other mostly protein/low carb snacks.

And, tuck in a bit of cinnamon wherever you can get it plus go out and take a walk or other form of movement (aka exercise). Be sure not to skip a meal as many folks do because they anticipate a big dinner - that'll surely lead to a big down then overeating and a big up. Keep it all moderate and you'll do fine.

Our Thanksgiving dinner is a balancing act between me and FIL (he has gastroparesis). So, here's our menu:

appetizer: from MIL so I have no idea what we'll have (if nothing else, I can snack on cheese or yogurt or something since it's at our house)
soup course: butternut squash soup with cinnamon (no cream, homemade vegetable stock base)
entree: baked stuffed cod (simple Pepperidge Farm seasoned bread cubes with veg stock for the stuffing - maybe 1-2 tbl of stuffing per filet) with a lemon garlic butter sauce
sides: homemade applesauce with cinnamon, homemade cranapple sauce with cinnamon, homemade whole wheat bread, homemade mac & cheese (low fat milk, low fat cheese, white pasta), roasted vegetables (sweet potato, beets, squash, yukon gold potatoes)
dessert: homemade pumpkin pie (with cinnamon of course)

it's all low fat, low fiber (for FIL) so I'm going to take it easy on some things but it's over all not bad compared to the usual sweet potato casserole and mounds of mashed white potatoes.
