Carb Guidelines - What do you follow?



  • 45/meal, 15/snack
  • 30/meal, 15/snack

I go with the generally recomended for women of under 30 grams for breakfast and under 45 grams for lunch and under 45 grams for supper.

Because my morning readings are usually high, I keep breakfast to 20-25 grams of carb. Lunch and dinner are more in the 30 gram range most of the time but not always. Snacks tend to be in the 15 gram range. But, given other factors (menstrual cycle, stress, illness, etc) sometimes I keep it higher or lower than that.
