Sort of good news!!

I saw my eye doctor this morning.  He says no evidence of any effects from the diabetes.(good thing since I am blind as a bat to start with!!).

They also confirmed that the challanges at work with seeing the puter screen and documents I look at are very likely due to needing the bifocal part increased AND the frames getting bent a few months ago did really change the location of the bifocal!!  Sure explains why i feel cranky pushing the monitor as low on the desk as I can get it plus lifting my glasses up a little to use the bifocal part.  (lets just say without a 3rd hand to hold the glasses up i really HATE trying to type with one hand!!

Am still struggling to get going on the exercise again, but at least the weather makes me feel more like it!!

Second day in a row when we hit 50 degrees!!!!  YAHOO!!!!

Nancy, it is actually good news that you don't have any eye complications from diabetes. Congratulations.. I know it is a bear trying to use a computer with glasses and I am in tri-focals for that reason!!

I hope the nasty weather that Arkansas and the other areas are experiencing won't come north and get to you and Cheryl. It is a understatement but the weather has been so strange lately. I met a couple from Colorado on Thursday and they had snow that morning! Now this is April isn't it?

Cheryl,

I have lines because I got one pair of progressive lenses and I felt like for a whole year that I couldn't see anything clearly. I hated them. I did get glasses this time which darken when I go outside and they work really well. I like that feature a lot. Now I don't need to carry a pair of sun glasses also. They were more expensive but not as much as having to purchase two pairs of glasses.

Nancy,

I feel like April Fool's Day never went away. How come it is snowing this late in April!! Your landlord really needs to take care of the problems because it could become a safety issue for you. If they mess with your van again, just report it to the police. They probably won't do anything but maybe just seeing the squard car visiting will stop the nonsense.

I have had larger frames for at least the last couple decades.

I have complained to the landlord the last couple years.
