I can see!! I can see!!

Went to Sears on my long lunch hour.  I know by last week I was getting really cranky, yanking my glasses off at work so I could take the fax or other paper and hold it up by my face so I could read it!!   That was along with pushing the puter monitor as low as I could get it plus holding glasses up with one hand while typing with the other!!  Funny how sometimes you really do not realize how badly something is stressing you until suddenly its gone, fixed or whatever!!

There were some really good reasons why I was getting crankier and yanking the glasses off. They must have been getting further and further off kilter with the bifocal part.  I would go to stores. and take my glasses off so i could read the ingredients in products.

I will admit there is a problem with the sunglasses(I left before noticing the gash in the one lens by the sidepiece...so that has to be redone) but both pairs I can see SO much better as far as reading, etc.  The upper part of glasses were good enough so I did not have problems walking around and driving, just seeing paperwork and computer monitors.

I admit I was really nervous since the regular glasses seem miniscule compared to this pair, but that has not been a problem.  I am not sure if I am going to like the dark glasses so well for driving in bright light.  This is a  different kind of dark glasses so it cuts the glare rather than making everything so dark. BUT that is great for if I need to use them with a migraine!!  The old ones had no bifocal in them, and this is the 3rd time I have gotten bifocals in the glasses so you know they are really old!!

Isn't it wonderful when we can see clearly again!! One year I had progressive lenses. I didn't see anything clearly for that whole year. I was so happy to be put back into my tri-focals. I have a special section of the lenses which has been made so that I can see the computer clearly without having to bend my neck. You might think about that sometime.

I will likely go and show them to her tomorrow, but we are going to Green Bay to dog show this weekend, and Sears is not going to have custody of them while I try out this new kind of "dark glasses".

This might sound crazy but is a perfect example of how bad things have been lately.
