Hi and welcome to the board.
Check with your pharmacist but I don't think there is a contraindication. You can't have grapefruit but you probably already know that. Remember there are special vitamin preparations made for diabetics also.
I found this...
What is the interaction between the statins and grapefruit juice?
Do not drink grapefruit juice if you are taking atorvastatin (Lipitor®), lovastatin (Mevacor®), or simvastatin (Zocor®). Grapefruit juice can increase the amount of medication that is absorbed from the stomach. This can result in higher levels of the statin in the blood. Higher levels of the statin in the blood can increase your risk for certain serious side effects such as muscle and liver problems. This interaction only occurs with grapefruit juice and does not occur with any other citrus fruits (orange juice, lemonade). This interaction occurs less with pravastatin (Pravachol®) and has not been reported to occur with fluvastatin (Lescol®).

Actually it is also possible if you are on high blood pressure meds, then grapefruit juice should not be taken!!
There also another limitation if you are on lisinopril. Then you are not supposed to use salt substitutes(the ones with more potassium) and although I did not see it mentioned I have avoided pomegranite juice for that reason(it is very high in potassium).
Actually it appears that grapefruit can cause problems with a lot of meds, sometimes increasing the effect of the meds and other things. I found it ironic because after that I started craving a recipe I used to have. it was for grapefruit cake with cream cheese frosting. The grapefruit had a much more delicate flavor than lemon or lime.
