So far, I like it!! I just took my first dose of humalog and I couldn't believe how easy it was.  And the needle is so tiny, I never felt a thing.  I'd been using 29 gauge long needle syringes.  Now maybe I won't have those horrible bruises all along my stomach.  And I won't need to refrigerate the pen I'm using, it'll make going out so much easier.

Was it Mary Frances who was going to start the pens?  I can't remember, but someone was and I'm curious as to whether she likes it also.

Hi Misty,

It is me who is going to start using a pen. I am still waiting for them to come. I may have a problem that you don't have. I have a worker's comp injury which caused me to have a disc removed from my neck and I may not have enough strength in my right hand to inject using the pen. I am normally right handed and I may have to learn how to do it with my left hand. I was certainly surprised at how much strength it took to shoot the dummy at the medical meeting I was at. We shall see!!

Mary Frances - I have used my right hand so far, and I'm left handed.
