Hi, does anyone take calcium supplements? My doctor says I need them for bone health and the pills are so big that I have to snap them in half and then they are scratchy going down!I was looking into the Caltrate chewables or the Viactive chewables. Has anyone tried them and do they spike your sugar? They have like 2 or 3 grams of sugar in the chewables and 2 or 3 carbs. (dextrose I think etc)I asked a pharmacist and she said to try it and then check my sugars but the chews are expensive ( like $7.99 per bottle) and I hate to try one and then if my sugar shoots up throw out the bottle. Has anyone tried them and do they affect your sugars? Thanks Rifka

I forgot to mention, I like the Target brand chews, they are cheaper and actually i think have a little more vitamin D in them that the viactin ones.

Hi, I'll try Target. I love to shop there! We belong to BJs so I'll try there too. I*'ll also try Walgreens and Walmart. Thanks so much. Rifka
