else have problems with their taste? I'm beginning to wonder about myself; sometimes my tongue gets a little numb feeling, and I think that might be one of the things that bother diabetics. I'm a good cook (I've been doing it long enough...I'd better be), but lately, some of the things that I've made for years just don't come out tasting quite right to me. Any comments?
I made my Sweet Sour Red Cabbage a couple of days ago (it gets better when a couple or more days old) and cooked my rutabagas this morning. Everyone likes the way that I cook the rutabagas, therefore, I don't have to wonder what I'm going to fix. Well, either my taster is off, or the cabbage isn't as good as it usually is; the rutabagas don't taste all that good to me either. Sweet DH wouldn't tell me the truth, I don't think. He insists that they taste alright to him.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I agree that the loss of taste is age related, but this seemed to be so sudden.
