Common Fave Brands of Certain Foods?

Fave brand (for diabetics) on:
Yogurt
Cheese
Pasta
Spag. Sce ----
Other common faves - considering our glycemic needs????!!! thanks.

Yogurt...
Yogurt: Fage plain non fat Greek yogurt (then I add my own flavors/sweeteners; second favorite is Stonyfield Farms YoCalcium which doesn't seem to throw my glucose readings off (as long as I'm otherwise doing okay that day) and has 50% of the RDA of calcium - I prefer that to taking a supplement since calcium supplements can monkey with thyroid medication
Cheese: pretty much any (as was noted, minimal carbs involved)
Pasta: LOL DH's fresh homemade whole wheat cooked just until al dente (the longer pasta is cooked, the higher the glycemic impact)
Pasta sauce: there are a couple brands that are lower sodium and have no sugar added, basically just tomatoes, spices, assorted diced veggies and onions and like that - one is called Bove's 1/2 cup of the marinara (for a basic comparison) has 7 grams of carb, ingredients are crushed tomatoes, EVOO, fresh onion, fresh garlic, salt, spices (240 mg of sodium - this one is on the higher end of the ones we get as far as sodium, there's another brand I can't recall right off that is somewhere around 100 mg of sodium for the same size serving)

Bove & Evoo spag. sces?
Are those like national brands?
Avail in the reg. grocery section? or a special sect. of the grocery?
thanks!!!!!
EVOO is extra virgin olive oil - an ingredient in the sauce
I think Bove is a national brand - I've seen it in several grocery stores. Usually it's just right there with the rest of the pasta sauces. Sometimes it's in the little cluster of organic and/or imported pasta sauces next to the regular sauces. If memory serves, the label is mostly yellow and I think the name is in a bluish color. boves.com is their website and they have a "store locator" to find where in your area carries the product. Or, you can order online directly from them. But, there are probably other sauces available that are as simple and basic as they are (I've found several in various states that I've shopped in). Bottom line, you want to check the ingredients and watch for all the various names of sugar.
