Can you use any sort of Lancets? Looks like the CVS lancets work w/the Freestyle Lite machine.

What about strips? Must use that kind?

Where's a great source for all this stuff? It is SOOOOOOOO expensive!

You must use the freestyle LIGHT strips.

Most insurances won't cover the cost of the lancets but they are cheap, especially in comparison to the price of the strips. Most insurance companies cover the cost of the strips but they my put a limit on the number of times that you can test per day or which meter you use. So make sure you check with your insurance before you get a meter or it can be a very expensive proposition for you. I did find that the lancets were cheapest at the big box stores.

On strips I had to have a prescription stating HOW many times a day to test.
