Last week for it got nasty outside(cold, snowy and icy) I did walk on my break around the park next to us.  Did that 3 days.

This week I have so far made it to the Y Monday, Tuesday and last night!   I will confess I was probably a little carried away. Did 65 minutes the first 2 nites and last nite only 55 minutes(the only reason it was less is Y closes at 10pm so I HAD to leave!!)

All nites I used a mix of machines including arm cycle and a new thing that is called an Arc Trainer(from Cybex).  Another one of those sturdy machines. I looked on line and the machine is over 350 lbs!! much cheaper than my favorite Precor elliptical which refurbished runs about $3800!!  A new one of this is for sale on ebay for ONLY $2700!!  Odds are about as good I can aford to buy either!!!

I am reminding myself this IS an aerostar and probably the last of those I will have!! Going out and buying another one which would be 12-15 years old would be asking for trouble! It still has its good points and although it seems to like to scare me a lot with "almost" disasters, I will take almost over disasters any day!!!

As I have tried to explain to my teenage dd, ANYTIME you buy a used vehicle you don't know what you are getting!

Yep, sometimes the known is much safer even if its not as much FUN as getting a "new" one!

I think I am so frustrated because I am now questioning going to the place I did for the repair. Even worse is seeing a twin of mine selling on EBay for $3,000! Actually I guess part of me thinks, trying to get a twin of mine could be asking for trouble, but it did have about 40,000 less miles!

Mind you I don't really need the extended length(which I have) I love the 4 wheel drive, and most aerostars are very capable of at least 200,000 miles!!
