Twosweet02,

I have one of those boards also. I am at the point of not being able to think up anymore questions to the week! I get so excited when I see that a message has been posted! I need to get a new siggy showing the Curves board but I think they will close it at anytime! I also check the outline view and see that people are reading the posting but they just don't answer the questions or make comments.

I am sorry to ready that you have been sick. It is a challenge when you have diabetes but at least you can tell by your blood sugar reading when you have turned the corner towards wellness. Another reason why your blood sugar meter is your friend.

Abby went to the vet last week over her protestations! She has now gained another 3 ounces and is up to 9 pounds 13 ounces and no more rectal bleeding so I think she is on the mend. The receptionists kept telling how good she was since she was just clinging to me.

Yes, I have posted on Community Connection and Home Team boards, and the girls there have been very nice about posting.

Ask questions that have nothing to do with money.

First off, I hope dear hubby is okay. Checking pupils is good and asking questions like who is the president and to count backwards from 100 will help you determine if he has a serious head injury.

I have to tell myself this also. When you think you need 911, call it and don't listen to his protestations. I still shutter at what my husband put me through last year and how dangerous it was because I didn't call 911. He just refused to let me call them and demanded that I take him to his internist's house. If I had remembered where he lived he would have probably had my head examined for showing up there! I was about half way to the hospital when I realized that there was a good chance he wasn't going to get there alive. This is the second time he has refused to allow me to call 911 and am going to do my level best to keep that from happening a third time.

The vet explained that she was reacting to the Pinnicle cat food and that eventually her immune system would correct the problem but since she didn't like the food anyway it was best to stop it and put her back on the Royal Canin 32 full time. Seems the other food that I had been feeding her didn't have enough protein in it and was supposed to be used with cats with kidney disease. Now how I got food is a good question. I was just trying to buy her indoor cat food. She still isn't eating anywhere near as much as the package says she is supposed to but since she is gaining back all the weight she lost I suppose that doesn't matter. They were talking about doing a colonoscopy on her. But I haven't seen anymore signs of bleeding so that is off the radar screen for now. She did have a stool specimen test and other than blood nothing else was found to be abnormal.

First of all, don't worry about what any pet food package says about how much to feed an animal!
