How is everyone's daily glucose doing? Doing good? Need to make some diet or excercise changes? Maybe talk to your dr about possible med changes?

I will confess I have not checked mine for about 2 days!
Things were stressful here Sunday night...
Some good, some not so good. I haven't been exercising in the last week - we were doing some spring cleaning and the treadmill is totally inaccessible and it'll take a bit of time to sort out - somehow have to make the time to get back at it. But, I'm still working at it, trying to keep things within reason. I've got my quarterly follow up in a month with blood work and all so I'm trying to get things going in the right direction for that.
In other news, hubby appears to be down another 5 lbs (which is a good thing) - he's starting to get comments from friends that he looks good which he's said is a real motivation to keep going. From a high somewhere around 385 3 or 4 years ago, he's at about 320 now (that's fully clothed with Crocs on and all). Which means he's likely to actually live past 65 (he's almost 41 now) - neither his dad nor his paternal grandfather made it to 65. He's also likely avoiding the full metabolic syndrome issue this way. He's already on cholesterol and blood pressure meds plus aspirin - his cholesterol is the classic upside down case (just like his dad and mom). His blood pressure meds might actually get reduced this next check up because of the weight loss which would be awesome! He went on meds in the first place because despite exercise and weight loss and eating properly, it would still creep back up again - the genetic component (mom, dad, etc). But he works to keep it to the smallest possible dose of the least intrusive medication and it seems to be working. Plus, he has been on a CPAP for the last 3 or 4 years and that is a big factor in weight and blood pressure as well.

Yeah for your dh!
Well I did check mine first thing this morning at it was 110!
If its any consolation my blood sugar hasn't been doing well either. I increased my insulin yesterday to 24 units. I was on 28 units when I started on the Januvia but I am not on that anymore. My blood sugar this morning was 129 which is still to high but better than 154. I don't know what the new doctor is going to say about this. I didn't call her and ask! My doctor who retired allowed me to change my medicine dosage as I needed. I do know that the new doctor wants to change my insulin and I have decided I don't want any part of this. She also wanted to take me off the med which finally got my cholesterol under control. The cardiologist said "no way"! I frankly don't understand why she thinks she has to change all me meds. I was doing well until I had the problem with Januvia. I have finally managed to lose the three pounds that I gained back in January. Now if I can just get off a few more pounds before I see her on the 14th. Of course is she does an A1C it isn't going to be good. DRATS!!
I am still going to Curves 4-5 days per week but I really need to get the garage cleaned out so that I can open up the treadmill again. I did
That reminds me of the time they stuck our mother in nursing home to "get her strength back" so the idiotic doctor there decided to improve her COPD by getting her on better inhalers!!(YAH RIGHT).
Hopefully
