Dr. wants me to have ANOTHER surgery....

Well I had the Hida Scan with CCK, and just saw my PCP today for the
results. He said that mine was 33% and it should be twice that, and is
refering me to a General Surgon to have it removed. I am totally bummed now
since I JUST had a Lap on 8/31 that has been a literal pain to recover from.
Now I wish that my gyn had just taken it out then, instead of me having to
do all the tests - not to mention that I had to pay $500 for the Hida Scan.
Anyway, my question is, should I go ahead and have it taken out? My PCP
said that 33% is on the boarder - when patients have 33% and no symptoms,
they don't take it out,but when they do present with symptoms like mine -
right upper abdominial pain (under my breast) that radiats to my sholder
blade, nausea, bloating, diariia - then they go ahead and take it out. My Lap was a
rough recovery, and all I want to do is get well so we can start TTC, I am just so sick of hurting. - and how bad would it be if I were to get pregnant with a bad gallbladder? I'd
love to hear y'alls thoughts.

Have you changed your diet to see if that makes a difference with the pain?
Once the GB has lost some of it's function - it does not get it back. It will either remain the same or get worse. If you haven't all ready made changes in your diet or eating habits - that may be enough so that your's fall into the 'remains the same' category and the symptoms go away.
