The diagnosis was H. Pylori.....

I had the endoscopy today and it was not bad as I thought it would be. I think the sore throat I have now is worst than the procedure itself. My diagnosis was infection with H. Pylori. I was given a "prevpac" which includes 8 pills per day for 14 days, 4 in the am and 4 in the pm. Each dosage consists of 1 prevacid pill, 1 biaxin, and 2 amoxicillin pills. I had been told previously that my symptom (mild swallowing discomfort, constant belching/regurgitation, full feeling shortly after eating and a constant bloat pouch in my upper abdomen)were Gerd. However, the endoscopy showed no GERD. In addition, a general surgeon had previously indicated that the bulge in my upper abdomen was achalasia, but the endoscopy also showed no sign of this as well. Is it possible to have all these symptoms for H. Pylori and nothing else or was something missed during the endoscopy. Any thoughts?

Hi Depmomof2!
I can relate to the sore throat.
