I have had this problem for about a year now. I thought it had to do with my thryoid and was going to an endo for my thryoid. He informed me that the problem is not caused from my thryroid and need to seek extra help.

Since the beginning of this year when my bowel habits changed. I have been having chronic

diarrhea. I usually only have it in the morning though. It usaully starts about 1/2 hour after I wake up and I can go anywhere from 3-10 times and then I am done for the day. I occationally will awake at night and have to go, but that is not common. I can take immodium and it will stop it, but I only try to do that on the weekend when I am going to be out in about. I stay at home with my kids during the day so its really not to bothersome. I do not get any real bad crammping with it, a little sometimes, but its more of just the ergency to go. The first one is usaully a very soft held together one, but they get increasingly watery after, the color is always dark, but not black.

I do know I have to see someone, but was hoping to get an idea of what I am in for or what I may have. Thank you and any advice would be helpful.

thanks, sheri

I am 30 years old. I do not have any fevers or pains, but I have been tired. I would say the tiredness (SP?) started a few weeks ago. I am tired all day and have been going to bed at 8:30-9:00. I have two boys one is 4 and the other 3, but also have a homedaycare in which I usually have 6 kids total a day. I eat healthy, I have one cup coffe in the am and eat good during the day and at night I usually have 1-2 drinks. I have stopped the drinks to see if that was the problem, but didn't seem to change anything. I am not overweight I am 5'5 and am about 135lb. I don't feel anything after I eat. Its usually just in the mornings wether I eat or not, then I am fine for the rest of the day.

Like I said, anytime there is a change in bowel habits you need to have it checked out with a doctor.
