An Ulcer?

The last few days has been hard

Ive had a burning sensation in my stomach that only goes away when I eat a peanut butter sandwich, drink  milk or take rolaids........since Im trying to lose weight, this remedy in itself causes many problems..........lol

I was reading up on ulcers just now, and a few of the sites descriptions sound like what Im going thru and may be a duodenal ulcer?

Anyone here have that?

I have a doctors appointment next week, my annual, but if she is going to send me for a whole lot of icky tests, I dont want to tell her about the burning sensation

What tests do they do ?

Have a good one,

Gayle

I agree you should tell the doctor. I had an ulcer. It didn't cause me pain, I had black diarhea every evening-- didn't think anything was seriously wrong. Duh! Then one night I got sick to my stomach and vomited blood. Later I had one that ate a hole through my stomach. It did hurt! They may do an upper GI or an endoscopy.Neither are as bad as letting an ulcer go untreated. It is best to find out one way or other. Best of luck.
