Hi Lynn :-)

Thank You so much for responding to my post concerning the problems I am having. Had the ct scan done this past Wednesday. Showed everything normal. Dr did say that the u/s that I had the day before did show some possible pancreatitis. Anyway, I have to call on Monday to see about getting an appointment out in town with a GI specialist to see about having an ERCP done. To answer your questions to my post: stools are somewhat bulky with lots of mucous & very foul smelling. Also, appears to be bloody at times (very rusty colored). I have constant pain right at the base of my ribs right in the center that I have had since March time frame that has been gradually getting worse since then. Had my gallbladder taken out in April. I do have GERD & a hiatal hernia. Every time I eat, I am usually doubled over in pain within 30 minutes after eating. If I eat any dairy products, etc, I end up vomitting violently. I am on Robinul every 6 hours & darvacet for pain every 4 hours, which is helping some. What does this sound like to you? Several people/drs think it could be a blockage of the common bile duct, but my blood work keeps coming back normal. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for being here for me.

HUGS,
Tara S

I am new to this web site but VERY relieved to find another people going through this nightmare. I have all same symptoms and the same story as the others -- pain, multiple ERCPs, multiple pancreatitis attacks, and always the WAITING WAITING WAITING for more CTs, more MRIs, more blood tests, etc. so it takes weeks to get any answers. My biggest question is WHY does my blood tests come back normal when I have all this pain? My CT shows some inflammation of the pancreas, and my liver is feeling very sensitive and feels enlarged. My primary care also told me it felt nodular, whatever that meant, but my pancreas and liver blood tests come back normal. I don't understand it. MRI is next, then back to the specialist.
Thanks, all.
