Unexplained Elevated Lipase Level?

I have a 5 yr old daughter with elevated levels. We have been dealing with unexplained lipase and amylase levels for about 2 months now. The elevated levels were found when her ped. ordered blood work to be done for fatigue and for some unkown reason he requested the lipase and amylase also be tested. We were immediately sent to our nearest Children's Hospital. At this point her lipase count was about 1400 and her amylase was about 400. We saw a GI speacialist there. He did a CT Scan which came back fine. He said the levels could have been elevated from a virus or maybe when she wrecked on her bike and bumped her belly on the handle bars. He felt confident they would go down on their own and this was an isolated incident. He felt no need to test the levels again unless she was experiencing excruciating belly pain, vomiting and diareha. I should mention that through-out all this my daughter was not symptomatic at all. The only thing she would complain of was mild belly pain (low on her belly as if it were her bladder) This all occured at the end of Sept. and everything was fine for a month and then she experienced a little more severe belly pain and diareha for a week off and on. We took her to our local ER one night at the end of Oct. with a 104 fever and more severe belly pain,(still real low) but not excruciaitng. They tested her blood and urine. Her urine was fine but her lipase count was 1600. They sent her home diagnosed with a virus. She was on a low-fat diet for a week and they re-tested the urine and blood and also did a stool test. The urine and stool came back fine, nut the lipase was now 2364 and the amylase was 346. The GI specialist said to not be that concerned with the high levels, but he said we need to look at the patient. And she seems to be doing fine. She still has low mild belly pain and spikes a temp at least once a week. They did an ultrasound two weeks ago and that too came back fine. She is scheduled for an MRCP next thur. and her GI Specialist wants to do more blood work but send it to the MAYO Clinic. He really is not sure what is going on. I was just wondering if anyone had any info. I mean on one hand I am very greatful that her tests are coming back O.K. and that she is not symptomatic, but it is also alarming at the same time. Nothing seems to be going hand in hand. Can her levels just be elevated???
