Haven't seen you around much and was wondering what you found out?? Miss talking to you!!! Let us know how you are doing.
Hugs,

I will second that Post or this post.. How are you doing Jo
Hi Ladies - I've been very busy with work & a very sick cat. I haven't even had time to read the recent messages - let alone post.
Jessie is doing better every day - she's on the mend but still very high maintenance. She's on an IV drip 24/7 for and gets antibiotics 3x each day for a very nasty infection that was a result from a bite from our other cat. It is very rare for a cat bite to get this bad. She had 4 surgeries in the past 2 1/2 weeks. (to drain the infection, instert drainage tubes. Right now she has 6 and goes in Monday (hopefully they come out then)
That's what I've been up to,
Jo
Well I am sending you a hug
Jo!
I am so sorry to here about your cat...I have three of them and I think I would be worried sick too.
Hi - just to let you know that Jessie has been off her IV drip for nearly a week. She's doing very well - but certainly not 100% yet. She may need another surgery. There is a patch of really thick skin on her under-belly. The hair isn't growing back from her shave 3 wks ago - and the skin is starting to turn dark. Saw the vet this morning and she will have surgery on Thursday if no improvement in skin. The black/purple means that there is scar tissue and the blood flow isn't flowing to the skin.
On another note - my vet (friend & boss) who went to Cuba for 6 weeks phoned on Satruday night - she broke her leg and will be returning early. She asked me to look after a few things from this end. Tonight (monday) the insurance company is flying her back from Cuba and she'll be going directly to a local hospital for surgery. She's not sure of the extent of the fracture because the x-rays taken there were of a very poor quality. And they haven't been giving her adequate pain meds. She actually ended up phoning the Cuban Embassy in Ottawa Canada and told someone there she needed Morphine! It wasn't long after that when the morphine started to flow freely.
I likely should have posted in "Off topic".
Jo
