Weird symptoms

Hey, everyone

For the past month, I have been experiencing chronic nausea, dizziness, fatigue, vomiting (especially after I eat), and a metallic taste in my mouth. I've been having a bunch of tests done on me, including blood work, abdominal ultrasound, and upper GI. I am not pregnant. Any ideas of what this could be?

Thanks.

Hi Kelley,

I just didn't want you to feel ignored. I don't have a clue. Sounds like you're doing the right thing by going to the gidoc and getting all the tests done. Let us know what comes of all that.

Love,

Jamie

You know, I kind of had some of the same symptoms as you, except I was never vomiting. But when I got blood work done, the first time, the results came back showing an increase of my thyroid levels. I actually don't really know what that meant, but it could have been an indication of how I was feeling. Did any of your bloodwork show how your thyroid levels are? This could be a part of it, but I am not a doctor so I could be wrong. But I thought I would write it in anyway! Oh and also, how was the upper GI? I might have to have one of those if my symptoms keep occuring..

Hey everyone,

Thanks for responding. Turns out my bloodwork showed that I'm borderline anemic, so the doc told me to start taking Theragram-M for that (and I also decided to get a steak that night too. :-D). I haven't gotten the results from the upper GI or anything yet, but when I went in for my yearly pap they found a ton of bacteria in my urine sample. Eww. So now I'm taking an antibiotic and feeling a lot better. Also drinking water like it's my job. So, with all this info. I've gotten, I'm actually starting to lean toward urinary tract infection...I think I should start taking bets. :)

Thanks!

Kelley
