Hi Everyone :-)
Sorry it has taken me so long to post an update. So much happened that week. I am not even sure where to begin. First of all, I did see the GI specialist that morning on the 13th of January at UNC. Within 5 minutes after walking into the room, he tells us that he does feel that it is adhesions & possible endo (endo on the liver, etc) that is causing my problem especially with my history (which is what we also suspected) & does not feel that it is Crohn's disease. He feels that I need to have a lap done to lysis/remove the adhesions. He referred me to a GI surgeon there at UNC Chapel Hill. I have an appt with the surgeon for a consultation on the 21st of February to see about having the surgery scheduled. Also to add to all of that, on the way back home from UNC that day (the 13th), I had to see a local dr here concerning a cyst that popped up suddenly. It went from being pea size to over golfball size in less than 72 hours. He immediately scheduled me for surgery the next morning, the 14th. It took him about an hour to remove it. It was on the back of my leg. Got the sutures taken out last Thursday & within 5 hours after getting the sutures out, it split wide open. So now, I am having to let it heal from the inside out. I have to go back & see him again for a follow-up this Thursday if not sooner. Been running a fever since yesterday. Not sure if it is from the cyst removal or from the abdominal issue. Anyway, sorry for rambling. Thank you so much for being here for me. Eventually we will get to the bottom of all of this.
HUGS,

Tara,
I hope your fever has gone down, if not you need to call your doctor asap.
