Colonoscopy -prep question?

Okay first off, ignore my user name; I have no idea where it came from. But secondly, I've read a lot of your same messages about this procedure but didn't see this addressed. I'm doing the clear liquid thing too at the time of prep. Prep night happens to fall on a friend's birthday. So I know not to eat anything solid. But what about having a glass of white wine the night before the scope? Or what if I'm starving, isn't there anything I could eat besides jello, broth and popcicles?
The reason I'm asking is because they also want me to drink that phosphate solution and do enemas, so I figure that would clear me out if I don't totally stick to the diet. Can someone help me with this? What would happen if I had a glass of wine or a piece of solid food the nite before, if I'm going to "clean" it all out anyway? Sorry if this is blunt/stupid/trivial. I just saw all my other concerns already addressed, and I feel better, by reading what you guys wrote, I just had these last few questions. Thanks in advance.

Hi and Welcome member_name666,
You don't want to eat the night before.
This is a late reply to your question...I have had two colonoscopies . I followed the prep as directed and the MD remarked how clean I was. I have firends that did not follow through with the entire prep and had to return for another procedure.
Good Luck
Yep, I can agree with that one.
I am so
Wren,
You will have to tell me all about it.
Yes!
