Gallbladder coming out

Well I guess it's final. The gastro dr. wants to remove my gallbladder on March 22. I am a little worried because of all the horror stories I have read on here with diahrrea, pain, etc.
I have a thickened GB wall with polyps, but no stones. I do not have the GB attacks that everyone talks about only the nausea, slight discomfort under right rib cage, and fatigue.
Does anyone have anything similar and any GOOD experiences to share??
I am not worried about surgery as I have had laparoscopic surgery before.

Thanks,
Donna

Hi Donna , i had my post-op today, he said everything looks fine i asked him about the pains in upper middle and ones that radiated around but dont last long, but the one in the upper middle seems to be there alot. he said its only been 2 weeks and it is more that likely from the surgery and if its not better in 2 weeks to call and he wants to run more test. (yippy just what i want to do Like you) your post-op is scheduled for quit a bit away, i thought they were always in about 14 days or so.im wonderding if it could be things i eat giving me the pain there also because of the gerd etc...........take it easy around the house, and rest
take care
