I've had IBS since highschool, but lately, it's gotten a lot worse. I always feel like I have to poop (TMI, i know), and it's like, constipating diarrhea, if you know what I mean. I have to push and push, and when it does finally appear, it's like really tiny, and I think, what the heck? all that work for that? I also have really bad hemorrhoids that tear easily and are pretty painful, and Prep H only temporarily numbs them. Is it time to see a specialist?

IBS is horrible, especially if u have other probs, like fibromyalgia, or chronic nephrolithiasis (kidney stones). I've been eating a lot of oatmeal, and it's helping a little. As far as the cold rag, i'll try it. Thanks for the suggestions! My trigger foods seem to be chili, mexican food, and milk products.

Hey Svodak!

For the dairy, you could try soy, rice, or almond milk.
