looking for some help here.... I'm a 40 year old woman in perimenopause.

about 2 weeks ago I started having GI problems, specifically mucous in my stools. I feel the need to strain when I go but go very little. My tummy is in constant rumble mode and my appetite has really decreased.

I've read a bit about IBS, gastritis and yeast in the GI tract. Anyone know about these conditions? I'm a bit embarrassed to go to my MD to have my "#2" checked out not to mention telling him of my symptoms. I am deathly afraid he will say "colonoscopy"

I've had Hemmies since my last child was born and they really are getting irritated.

I'm also worried.....the thought of CANCER is in my thoughts frequently.

Anyone???? Please help
