Hi,

I am the type of person who tries to avoid doctors if possible, so I came here to see if any of you are familiar with what is going on with me, I am 37 and over the last couple of months I have had this ache on my left side that seems to come and go, I think it might be food related or indigestion of some sort but I have never had food sensitivities before, the pain is tolerable but lasts for over an hour and then seems to go away it is just under the ribs on the left side, and recently I just developed a lump in my armpit that is tender to the touch, I don't know if the two are related, or if there is any cause for concern with any of this, Any feedback would be appreciated,

Not sure if I should worry or not
thanks for any reply

It is hard to say from your post anything concrete, but I will tell you two things: I used to stay away from doctors until I got to the point I really needed medicine or couldn't tolerate things and it was not always the best choice since two times off the top of my head I made a situation worse and spent more time and money getting over it than if I had just gone to a doctor. Second, the lump in your armpit would be of greater concern to me than the digestive issue. I have no idea what it is, could be, etc., but anytime an area of our body is sensitive to touch something is going on there without a doubt. Maybe another poster can give you the insight I know you are looking for, but my two cents is that you need to see someone, maybe not because it is life-threatening, but it is something I would be concerned about.

Good luck.
