HI Everyone,
We are still trying to find out what is making me so sick. Been having severe upper right abdominal pain now for the last 17 months. Last week, it radiated to the left side where the pancreas is. My dh & a friend of mine tried to get me to go to the ER that night, but I refused. The pain was so severe that I could not move off of the bed. Could not even move my left arm without it being excruicating. I did call my pcm the next morning about what happened. He once again feels what is going on is chronic pancreatitis being caused by sphincter of oddi dysfunction. He is now sending me to a specialist at ECU. Anyway, concerning the bleeding issue. About 2 1/2 months ago I had significant bleeding from the rectum (sorry for being so graphic). I literally gushed bright red blood for 2 hours straight! It stopped. I had a colonoscopy about 3 weeks ago. The dr noted what appeared to be a "birthmark" area just inside the sigmoid colon not far from the "exit". He said it was either a birthmark or from where the scope rubbed. Because it was not actively bleeding, he said it was nothing to worry about, just something we would have to watch. Well, last Monday, I had another bleeding episode. Bowels are normal. Not too hard, not too soft. Supposedly, I no longer have hemoroids. Anyway, I have been having bright red bleeding now for over a week every time I have a bowel movement. Today, however, the bleeding lasted continuously for over 6 hours! Very bright red blood with small blood clots. I was having to go to the restroom every hour or so to let things "drain" because it was getting to the point of spotting my underwear. Only had one bowel movement this morning. It was almost like something had torn open. The bleeding finally slowed down about 2 hours ago, but I am still passing bloody mucous, just not "gushing" now. Sorry for being so graphic once again. Not having any pain. I have a history of very severe endometriosis. I am wondering if that "birthmark" is where endo has infultrated the bowel. Should I be concerned about this?? I hate to bug the dr with this. I am sure they are thinking I am a nut case now. LOL Bugged him a lot last week with some other health issues. What do you all think??? Should I just let it be??? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

HI Wren,
I do not mean to scare you, but yes it is exactly how it is happening.
