and the procedure wasn't too bad. I think the worst part is the unknown. I don't think that I have mentioned ---- I am a RN, (for one year anyway :)). I work in a veteran's hospital so we don't have a real lot of female patients.
Now just the waiting game for the results. I know everything will turn out ok.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and I will keep you updated.
It was kind of funny though, the morning of the test --- I took some immodium to make sure that I would be ok during the test as you know nerves can cause colitis to act up, I made it through the test and I was in the recovery area and could not get a nurses attention, so I hopped up out of the bed with all the blankets they piled on me and ran out to the nurses station ---- "WHERE is the bathroom?" they looked at me like I was nuts and they were right over there (of course it was right in front of the station), they asked if I was ok and I said I have colitis and they said get right in there :)!!!
Needless to say, I owned that bathroom the rest of the morning -- oh well.
