Pregnant with GB problems?

I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant with my second child. Around 27 weeks pregnant I ended up hospitalized for a weekend for unexplained pain that doctors eventually concluded was "probably" my gallbladder but the ultrasound didn't show anything. At the time I was able to go back to regular diet and activity after a few days. In the last few weeks though it's gotten worse again. I'm having pain under my rib cage after most meals, I've got a horrible pain in my back/shoulder blades. Currently it's on the right side, but can be across the entire back sometimes. I've got unbelievable acid from my stomach. I know I'm pregnant and all, but this is unbelievable. I'm taking 150 of zantac every 12 hours. If I miss a dose, OMG! I missed the first pill in weeks two mornings ago, and the next day my tongue and throat were still swollen from the acid. My nausea is getting worse, last night I couldn't handle a bowl of cherrios. And diahrea after every single thing I eat. I also get dizzy, lightheaded after meals that make me the sickest. I know nobody wants to do anything for me until I deliver this baby, not that I would either, but how bad is this going to get?! I can't eat anything without consequence. I'm constantly hungry. I hope someone here has some advice. Is there anything that they could do for me until I deliver? That day can't come soon enough!

I went through the same horrible ordeal you are going through while pregnant with my 3rd child (which happened to be a boy after 2 girls). I had rib cage pain--extreme nausea where I was losing weight when I should have been gaining, and the worst heartburn I have ever had in my life. I lived off of crackers and gatorade. I was prescribed Diclectin(only available in Canada)for what dr.s thought was severe morning sickness. I gave birth to my son in March 2004 and the nausea, rib pain, heartburn continued. I was put through so many tests that I felt like a lab rat! Finally had my GB removed in March 2005. Still had nausea, heartburn but is finally starting to get better. If you can avoid anything fatty, spicy, greasy until you can get your GB removed. Will save alot of pain and "attacks".

Good Luck and congrats on the upcoming little one!
