I have IBS and frequently have boughts of constipation. Last weekend I had the stomach flu and had diarrea until Monday the 3rd. On Tues, the 4th, I took some Pepto for my nausea. Now it's Mon. the 10th and I still haven't had a good bm since the 3rd. I took two laxatives last night, but they haven't helped so far. I need some relief ASAP. Anyone know of something that I can try to make me go??

what an amazing post~!
one question-I have allergies to:
corn, wheat, rice, soy, yeast, dairy and oats-and, have a history of irregularity-I am now taking a supplement(fiber) eating apples, more veggies like broc, brussles etc-I cannot eat many grains. I am now on the soft side of things, daily. not sure what's too soft/not normal? I also recently discontinued a med that causes GI problems/constipation-anything else I can do?
oh, and, have hem'rds-ugh-but I have talked to wren before..:)
Thanks!!!

Hi wren
better...maybe twice a month I skip a day, which can spell trouble, or, at my period i can get a little "slow....I drink as much water as I can stand, an apple every day, etc. I wish I could eat oatmeal too-I get retested for food allergies in a few weeks-maybe I can add it in.
I would love any info you dig up-for such a simple process, it sure does suck when things are "right" down there :)
