GB & Fruits & Veggies

I posted on here the other day that I had some GB pains on Sunday. I am going to see a surgeon on Tuesday to see if I have to have surgery or not I guess. My question is regarding food. I have heard that fruits and veggies are good to eat, and I've also heard they're not so good. Does anyone know if they are safe GB food or not? I went shopping the other night for some fat free foods, and I got some fat free cereal (Crispix) and fat free milk, Cream of Wheat, Jello, Pudding, Cucumbers, Fat Free Ranch dressing, Fat Free Saltine crackers. I've also had some mashed potatoes (no gravy) and frozen yogurt. So far so good. Although I haven't eaten all the food yet from the grocery store. I also tried some chicken with bbq sauce, and green beans. I am just looking for other ideas on what to eat. And I'm scared to eat fruits or veggies until I know if they are safe or not. Any ideas?

Those things seem ok to eat
Yes, I was unsure of the BBQ sauce myself, so I just had a little bit.
Recording my seem hard at first but
Fruits and Vegs should be ok. But remember everyone is different in how their body will react. Chicken was one of the worst foods for me. I would be nauseous, bloated, and in pain if I ate that. Same with fat free salad dressing--it would still cause problems for me.

Hi - as the others - everyone is different.
I don't tollerate sugar well (causes a flare up of 'female stuff' - but that's another message board!) - many of the fat-free products are high in sugar.
I bloat something awful from sugar substitutes used in foods and drinks.
Some one posted this link before for GB diet. It could help. Some things on there (ie raw apples and bananas) never bothered me, but it gives a good idea of low fat things.
