Gas?? Here are a few ideas to help you

get rid of gas:  Gas attacks can be more than embarrassing; they can be downright painful. Usually, a gas attack is related to something that has been consumed. Gassy foods such as broccoli, asparagus, onions, garlic, and certain sugars can render even the toughest gastrointestinal tract bloated and uncomfortable. Doctors suggest that swallowing air because of mouth breathing, snoring, and chewing gum can also be a contributing factor.

If your gas continues for several days despite changes in the diet, you should consult a physician. An extended bout of gas could be a symptom of a serious disease, such as colon cancer. For an acute attack, however, little can be done to relieve the symptoms. Walking can help the gas work its way out, and a hot water bottle or heating pad applied to the abdomen can provide relief as well. Anti-gas medications, such as those containing simethicone, can provide some relief by bringing gas bubbles together and allowing them to pass more easily.

Anyone have anything to add??
